4. Jinko Solar Review
For a number of years, we have installed Jinko solar panels on the rooftop of Cairns homes. Similar to JA Solar, they are China based, have a track record and are well received. Their cost-effective and reliable solar panels, especially the Cheetah range are popular for residential and commercial installations.

6.Canadian Solar Review
Canadian Solar was founded in 2001 and is based in Ontario, Canada. It has manufacturing facilities in Canada and in China and is recognised for producing robust solar panels. Due to regional agreements, our solar panels are sourced from Canadian Solar’s Chinese assembling facility.
Why Canadian Solar
Canadian Solar has an average efficiency of 16.6%, their efficiency is lower than SunPower solar systems. Australia’s Canadian Solar panels are half the size of conventional panels. This is similar to REC Solar’s TwinPeak panels and results in a marginally better efficiency.
Warranty
Canadian Solar offer a product warranty of 10 years and a performance warranty for 25 years. The performance warranty is extended to 30 years for some models, such as double glass panels.
7. Trina Solar review
Trina Solar is a trusted manufacturer of solar panels and offer good value, customer service and gradually improved efficiency over time. It was founded in 1997 and panels are manufactured in China. Typically, they produce solar panels that range between 335W and 445W, however, newly released models have been reported to capture a much higher power.
Why Trina Solar
Across Trina Solar PV panel range, the average efficiency reported ranges between 16.2 and 19.9% which is within industry benchmarks.
Warranty
Comparable to other manufacturers, Trina Solar offers a performance warranty of 25 years and a product warranty of 10 years.
